Honoring Women Veterans
Partners In Community Building, Inc. (PICB) is a HUD-certified, housing counseling, non-profit agency. PICB provides a rich array of housing and financial literacy programs to low-to-moderate income individuals and families and assists veterans through the Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program. To promote housing stability among the veteran population in Cook County, PICB helps eligible veterans through outreach, case management, and wrap-around service support.
PICB recognizes that many women veterans face unique challenges with reintegration into society and through the hardship of homelessness that require unique support. These 2 events are to celebrate the service of female veterans and connect them with helpful resources.
